Schnepf Farms

Em and G performed at Schnepf Farms this year.
Last year Em missed it because of her appendix.
This year G cried during the finale because someone took her black pom and she didn't want to fluffy black pom!

It's OK

A couple of years ago, Courtney found me a letter K while shopping.
It has hung by my front door since then.
Last week it fell and broke...I was sad. I liked my K.
The next day someone fixed my K with scotch tape
and hung it back up!
I think I know which one did it...thank you.
I love you!

(BTW: it fell and broke again and is now in the trash)

Halloween 2008

Our Halloween traditions:

Pumpkin bread bowls with soup
Homemade rootbeer for Trick or Treaters that stop by our house

We love Halloween!
(too bad we didn't get any pics of the kids in costume!
It was a crazy year!)

Pumpkin Carving at the Fosters

This year we carved our pumpkins at the Fosters
We did a pinata afterwards
which might not have been a good idea
(the older kids were a little too aggressive!)
We love spending time with family!

Two Weeks Old

Wow,
What a whirlwind of two weeks:
Having 5 kids and a newborn
Trying to get all of them to their STUFF
Kids home from school sick
Having a newborn that doesn't like to nurse
(none of the other kids had formula)
Having a newborn that didn't poop
Putting a newborn on formula and he LOVES it
Dealing with the possibility of not nursing

Calvin Keith Kennedy

I went to my Doctors appointment on Monday the 3rd. He scheduled an inducement for the next day but told me he didn't think I would make it through the night. And he was right. Around 9pm I started having painful contractions. So I laid down hoping that they would stop. I wanted to wait till tomorrow. But they were getting more painful and closer together. So around 11pm we went to the hospital. Thank goodness it was slow and they gave me an epidural soon after. Then the nausea set in and I was sick all night. Around 6am I felt like I needed to push. They checked me and I was at a 9. They called Dr. Lepetich from home and told him to hurry.
7:47 he was born
8 pounds 8 ounces
20 inches long

He is so perfect.
Round face, dark hair, dark eyebrows.
He held his head up right when they laid him on me.
He can't wait to see Jaycee and all his cousins!
Thank you family and friends for all your help!
I love you!

Duke Glen Kennedy

NEVER SAY NEVER
Yes, I said I would never have a dog and weeks before baby six we got a dog.
Emma named him, and we all agreed.
I actually like him.
He's the first dog I have ever pet before.
I worry about him sometimes too!
The kids love him!
But he's still an outside dog!
